Questions, answered.

Plain-language answers to what families ask us most. Don’t see yours? Give us a call — we’re always happy to talk it through.

Getting started

How do we get started?

Request a free consultation online or give us a call. We’ll talk about your needs, check your funding and schedule an assessment with a BCBA. Most families hear back within one business day.

Do we need a diagnosis first?

Not to talk with us. Some funding sources do ask for a diagnosis or a doctor’s referral before services can start. We’ll explain what your plan needs and help you take the next step.

Is there a waitlist?

It depends on your area, schedule and the type of support you need. When we call you back, we’ll give you an honest idea of timing.

About ABA

What is ABA?

ABA stands for Applied Behavior Analysis. It’s a science-based way to understand behavior and teach new skills step by step — like sharing needs, following routines or handling change. Good ABA is positive, respectful and built around what matters to the person.

Who is it for?

We work with children, teens and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities. Whether the goal is talking with family, making friends at school or keeping a job, support is shaped to each person’s age and goals.

What’s the difference between a BCBA and an RBT?

A BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) has a graduate degree and national certification. They assess, write the plan and supervise. An RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) is trained and certified to work one-on-one with the person, following that plan.

Cost & funding

What about insurance and cost?

We accept Medicaid waiver programs, most major insurance plans and private pay. We’ll check your benefits for free before anything starts and explain any costs in plain numbers — no surprises.

What if my insurance doesn’t cover ABA?

We’ll look at other options with you, like Medicaid waiver programs or private pay. If we’re not the right fit, we’ll try to point you to someone who is.

Is the first conversation really free?

Yes. The first call and the benefits check are free, with no commitment. We’ll explain any costs clearly before services begin.

Sessions & services

Where do sessions happen?

Wherever skills are needed: your home, school, workplace or out in the community — like a grocery store, library or bus stop. Many families mix settings as goals change.

Do parents or caregivers need to be there?

For younger children, a parent or caregiver is usually home during sessions, and we coach you along the way. For teens and adults, it depends on the goals and what the person wants.

How long and how often are sessions?

It’s different for everyone. After the assessment, your BCBA recommends a schedule based on goals, and we work around school, work and family life.

Still have questions?

We’re glad to help. Call us, or request a free consultation and we’ll reach out within one business day.
